I don't see how its even up for debate. Mcgregor goes flying in, doesnt touch the ball and makes contact with hedges. Its a pen and potentially a red. The ref is shite, but what the fuck is the linesman doing and how can he not see it is a blatant pen?

It's a pen, McGregor knows exactly what he is doing and catches Hedges just at the last moment with his heel.

Enough to make it look accidental, enough to foul Hedges - and deliberate.

It's a foul and a yellow card, perhaps red if you can argue that Hedges would have reached the ball and scored. 

Dubious unsurprising decision.

I’d say we have been pretty decent if I’m honest. Passed the ball about relatively well at times. Had a few opportunities we could have done better in like ojo at end of half. If it’s across face it’s a tap in. Instead he cuts it back .

Had he committed fully when playing the ball, McGregor would have clattered right through him and a pen would have been undeniable.
