fine-n-dandy 1,014 Posted January 8 The fact he wanted to finish his college shit is basically what kept him out of MLS. Otherwise he potentially would have been in MLS sooner. Not sure if they have same rules as other US sports in that they have to do college before they can go pro. I have nothing against his choices & it in no way makes me think he wasn’t in MLS because of lack of abilities. I do think that Scottish football will be a major shock to his system & what he has gotten used to & I think it will be after summer before we can expect him to be full adapted to it & asses him fairly. He does look a fk load better than the likes of Gallagher/Gurr though & it is a boost having the Mr Happy Ramirez to hold his hand through his introduction to SPFL Share this post Link to post
mutant 38 Posted January 8 Totally agree about adjusting, this guy won’t be coming in to play straight away no chance. Needs to get used to full time football and the demands of full time football. Watched the clip of him and he looks like he plays in a similar manner to Rogic. Just not sure he will look that good against proper teams and especially teams that don’t like to play pretty football. Share this post Link to post

If Ferguson, Campbell and Jenks are away this window as rumoured and with Longstaff already gone he'll get chances I think. We'll have Brown, an injury prone McGeouch and young Barron as his competition. Ojo will be playing right wing or right back depending on which of Hedges and Ramsay are away first! mutant 38 Posted January 8 If we are gambling on an complete unknown coming in to replace a regular we are in a lot more trouble than I thought. Share this post Link to post

aberdeen1970 2,577 Posted January 8 The best bit about his highlights reel was his ability to see and make a pass quickly. Can play a bonny pass that's for sure. Share this post Link to post
Broken_Glass 199 Posted January 8 Whoop whoop an American amateur. Go Glass. Share this post Link to post

Don't remember them not being good enough for Aberdeen..... Nullified by the fact that 99% of those who have that played in the Highland league weren't good enough for the Dons. Aye Brown can sort them out and leave the lad to concentrate on spraying his passes about. Share this post Link to post

Painful being in the stand with those cunts. There are still actual spastics living and breathing amongst us to this day who don't realise that Kenny McLean was a fantastic midfielder. He does but hopefully the lad has some arrogance about him and he plays his own game which would show hatchet men like them up. Share this post Link to post
Ke1t 4,281 Posted January 8 At 6'4" and an actual athlete, I doubt he's going to be too intimidated by Scotland's current batch of 'hardmen'. Hopefully he treats his first full game for Aberdeen like prison, and just snaps the hardest cunt on the field (not in a Dons shirt) to send a message. Think Van Der Ark did something similar in his first game or two... gets on the field and just havvers some fucker within what felt like about 30 seconds. Start with that Sibbald cunt at Livi. Also, sign Odin fucking Bailey. Share this post Link to post

PondHopper 35 Posted January 9 NYCFC developed him. He got a first class education, top rated college player in the country, and passes on NYCFC for Aberdeen giving them no compensation. A little payback for gms. Enjoy! Share this post Link to post
