In the last 10 years the only season we haven't had a 15-20 goal a season striker was DM's last season. 

Yeah Ramirez is good but he's not irreplaceable.

Uninspiring but he is at a pl club and young. If he was doing well in league 1 he would be going to a championship club for 4 times the wage we can offer.

Speaking of Irish loons, I saw this thread on twitter a few days ago.

It's probably a market we look at already, and doubts if this type of player could make the step up. But the club need to look everywhere to get better quality in.

Aside from that, for the starting X1, we need:

a goalie   
1 centre half (at least).  
a left back      
2 centre mids.  
A left winger.   
Centre forward.

So at least 7 for the starting X1.    
 
On top of that, a couple of decent back ups, & squad fillers & maybe promote the likes of Ryan Duncan. 

So maybe 9-10 in.

So, to go, either sold, released or away on loan.

There will be a few.

Other clubs manage to. 

We’ll have plenty wages & probably a player sale to help. Hopefully Mowbray & Goodwin have a no1 target & a good back up.

It’s not ideal but I’d even take a good loan for 12 months if needs be.
