Got 90 mins in the cup which they lost. Wigan promoted. Safe to say McGrath will be available this summer. Standard McInnes signing and we know that recipe is fairly decent. Doesn’t exactly bode well does it. As I and others predicted on here, he’s not up to much. Link to comment

We've signed plenty of League 1 players in the past who have done perfectly fine for us e.g. Shay Logan, Adam Rooney Link to comment

Its a bit weird he's been no where for Wigan though Link to comment

BonnieDon
So we're after Jamie McGrath, Connor Ronan, Siegrest/Hladky, Reuben Neimeijer and Alan Forrest. The names that have been mentioned. Alan Forrest will sign for Hearts. Siegrest will get a bigger move elsewhere. Connor Ronan will either join Hearts or a team in England. We'll probably end up with Hladky and the dutch lad. Possibly loan McGrath next season. Link to comment
BonnieDon
https://www.transfermarkt.us/jack-tucker/profil/spieler/542516 Jack Turner is out of contract at the end of the season. Centre back. Link to comment

He's just made his way into the Ireland squad and will want first team football. Capital City too. "According to the report in the Daily Record, it is understood that should Hearts secure European football, it would put them in pole position to signing Ronan on loan" Alan Forrest also doesn't have to relocate if he signs for Hearts. Byrne Baby Byrne
Some folk say the league was weaker when McInnes took over at Aberdeen but i disagree and think the problem for Goodwin is how shit it is now. at least back then you could look at st mirren and see McLean & McGinn. Look at Inverness and see Christie, Watkins, shinnie. United were loaded with talent. who the fuck are we supposed to sign from other premiership teams to weaken them and strengthen us? There is nobody at any other team that would improve us. The league is fucking shite. 4 Link to comment

The league is weak, backed up by the fact Motherwell have won TWO league games in 2022, yet have a decent chance of finishing 4th. But the likes of Charles-Cook, Ronan, Levitt (albeit two don’t belong to clubs in the league) would strengthen us would they not? Link to comment

Playing European football until Xmas at least will be an attraction, surely? Living in Edinburgh is more an attraction than Aberdeen too. All possible - however he could also look at Neilson's shit brand of unattractive thug ball and realise that actually it was Goodwin that got him playing well, enjoying his football under the manager, a mutual respect and trust etc. Don't underestimate the pull of a decent manager, McInnes was very good at selling Aberdeen to potential players. I think you’ve answered it yourself by only being able to name 3 players and one plays for Wolves and one plays for Man U! 1 Link to comment

Sonoftherock
With Aberdeen and Hearts both going after him hard, feel that whoever gets him will end up overpaying. He's better than what we've currently got, but certainly not a peak Hayes/McGinn standard player. 1 Link to comment
