With Aberdeen and Hearts both going after him hard, feel that whoever gets him will end up overpaying.  He's better than what we've currently got, but certainly not a peak Hayes/McGinn standard player.

In my opinion I'd say he fits a very similar profile to Hayes when he joined us at quite a similar age. Most of his career at younger age has been played at lower league level, then went up to championship and improved again like Hayes, then stepped up to SPL and each year has improved further and with definite further improvement still to come. Not saying he would come in and become the Scottish Mo Salah but he is a player who is still relatively young, is improving season by season, and got further potential to develop further.

Just like with Ross Stewart when we were linked with him, people who did not watch him all the time and made assumptions about him were deciding he wasn't good enough for us. Many of those would happily take him playing up front for us now.

Much rather have us trying to sign someone like him than the likes of Gallagher, JET and Ramirez that we were signing last year who had been around the blocks and were never going to improve as players.

Doesn’t exactly bode well does it. As I and others predicted on here, he’s not up to much.

Would rather sign Shinnie if we're taking anyone from Wigan.

Aye I know "never go back" "past his best" etc but we badly require a player with his drive and commitment.

Sign James McLean.

Ask the SPFL we play the scum at the Bastard garden on the weekend of 11 November.

Get unadulterated pure hatred back.

An IRA supporting fuckwit, no thanks

We also desperately need players with actual ability, sadly he doesn't have that.

Nonsense min was a great player for us.

For a fan base that sings Stand Free that’s pathetic, hatred for the huns has nothing to do with religion

The only Myth there is that it's Neilsons brand.  It's Hearts brand and has been for decades

Hearts don't play "thug ball." They are a decent enough and efficient side, passed us (3rd highest possession team) off the park at Tynecastle a few weeks back. Got to give them credit they are a decent, well organised side. If anything I'd suggest Hibs are more punishing than Hearts. They tried to play at Parkhead on Saturday there and ended up getting thumped.

Many said the same about AFC at away venues under DMC.

Aye, seems a strange one.

Maybe he’s decided himself to run his contract down knowing there was interest from Forest.

Then we lose him for fuckall.

If we had wanted to keep him we could be due a development fee if we offered him a deal.

Perhaps he's indicated his desire to leave as that interest could've been there for a considerable time. Its only Ireland, but you Perhaps can feel quite detached from your parent club if out on loan.
