Cormack has to appoint who he thinks is good for the job and leave them to it not really his fault if they make a cunt of it

He made a cunt of hiring Glass. Didn't have a HoR in place giving Glass a free pass at last summers transfer window. Shambles. Then hired somebody conpletely inexperienced at doing the DoF role.

I get your point about the others making a cunt of it. But who put them in the position to make a cunt of it? Cormack.

Managers should have a free pass at transfers it’s him who picks the team he should say who he wants. No point someone giving a guy players saying use them and the manager thinking they are crap. That’s hearts 15 years ago

Absolutely, 100%. There's something criminal about a manager having signings forced upon him then paying the price. You wouldn't hire a top Chef for your Restaurant, then dictate they need to serve Beans on Toast.

Ridiculous comparison. Glass was in his 1st job as a manager. His first transfer window and we allow him to sign shite like JET? Mowbray never started until September ffs. Glass signed 10 players last summer and how many are still here? 2? 1 when Ramirez gets sold.

What Cormack should have done is got the HoR in place ready for the summer window. Glass could then have said the type of player he wants and we might have ended up with a couple more Besuijen's rather than Gurr and JET who was signed based upon him playing well in the cup game.

The manager should get final say on signings but Glass should never have had the summer window to himself. That's Cormack's fault.

I was agreeing with a comment and wasn't referencing Glass. It was a generalisation about managers, they rise and fall by their signings. If you trust them enough to appoint them, you should follow through and allow them to bring in their own players. Glass should never have been appointed. No Glass, no JET, no Gurr etc.

Aye let’s hope for the team to be fucking shit so the manager gets the sack. You’re a hun, I’m sure of it.

So I’m a hun for thinking a manager who’s managerial career highlight is a 3rd place League 1 finish wit Alloa isn’t good enough for Aberdeen? A manager who claimed after his first game that sorting the defence would be easy, only to follow it up with 2 clean sheets from the next 11 games? A manager who currently has the worst career record of any permanent dons manager with 2 wins, 5 draws and 5 defeats from his 12 games in charge? A manager with such shit man management skills that in the run up to potentially one of our biggest games of the season tells half the squad they’re being let go? A manager who supports Celtic and in his short time in charge of the dons has already taken his son to a Celtic game? Surely the last one is a sackable offence in your eyes if your mouth frothing about McRorie is anything to go by?

Anything that gets him out the door and allows us to bring in a decent manager would be worth it.
