Nobody is getting worked up.

It’s a completely valid point and reaction, considering the trend of a number of players signed to us lately, as far as this is concerned.

It’s not just about social media, it’s basically about these players making declarations of how they have no real desire to play for us.

Say what you like about Mcinnes, but he is a prime example of how there can be exemptions and how a good professional will conduct themselves.

Guy appreciated Aberdeen to the extent he actually chose us over the huns.

Fucking now way am I having that. He took an age to decide and in the end he bottled it to keep his easy life at AFC.

Which would have ruled out Miller, McLeish, Leighton, McGhee, McMaster, Rougvie and Weir from our Gothenburg side

Eh?? These guys treated the club with total respect whilst they where here. So much so that it came as a shock to most that McLeish was revealed as a Rangers supporter when he took the managers job there, despite the fact that it should have been obvious.

These guys conducted themselves in the proper fashion and it is a scandal that they would be lumped in the same bracket as some of today's players.

Aye you’ve a point there.

They were still on shit street financially at the time and a poisoned chalice.

He kept his allegiances to himself pretty well in general though.

He only chose us over the huns because the huns were in such a mess at the time. Do you really think if he was still here now and got offered the job after them winning the league last year and reaching the final of the Europa that he'd still turn them down? He didn't stay with us because of a love of Aberdeen and hatred of Rangers.

Can you point to where and when McRorie (who left Rangers to join us) has ever declared he has no real desire to play for us?

When he flew to Seville to help support our most bitter rivals and in general by being a hun you stupid cunt.

We should really just accept our place in Scottish football ?

Can’t believe folk think Willie miller was secretly attending cup finals supporting rangers ?

fucking hell I have genuinely seen it all on here.

There is no comparison. Mccrorie is a fucking donkey and a hun fuck.

Miller wasn't even a Rangers fan, according to his autobiography he couldn't be arsed with the bigotry in Glasgow.

We should never accept being worse than them lot... doesn't change the fact that surely nobody is naive enough to think McInnes turned down Rangers solely because of his undying love for AFC.

That’s not what was said.

Dont come the cunt and make yourself out to be a bigger fanny than you already have.

Are we talking just no huns, or no huns and tims? What about Hearts, Hibs, Dundee etc? Or are we just saying we'll take them but they must be professional by showing no previous allegiance? Where do McGinn and Hayes fit into this? The uber hun Lewis Ferguson, who more then celebrated that semi final goal against them?

You mean when he flew to Seville to support his twin brother?  And you had the audacity to claim you 'weren't getting worked up' ??

Honestly min, what the fuck are you talking about?

You telling me Ross Mcrorie isnt a hun and was there as a hun fan? You are displaying serious hun tendencies yourself.

Does his brother come to pittodrie to support Ross?

Edit - ha ha. As said above - his brother didn’t even feature and was never going to either. Support his brother ??

Who cares what he does on vacation.  One of the few who put in a good performance last year. Some times i think scotland still lives in the dark ages.

Did he?  When?  Aye he runs about a bit but he's a fucking donkey

Pretty much exactly what you said. He didn't conduct himself like a good professional, he messed us about for weeks while he decided what he wanted to do... and had Rangers been a better run club at the time he'd have been off like a shot. Nothing to do with how much he appreciated us... we were just a more stable option at the time.

This is why Canadian Dons are viewed as nonentities on here.

If you are taking a wage at Aberdeen as player/manager or anything really. You put aside any previous love for other Scottish clubs until such time as you are no longer employed by Aberdeen. No exceptions.

Otherwise you are an unprofessional scummer.

Whilst at Aberdeen, you are Aberdeen & ONLY Aberdeen

So he had one good performance, what about the other brutal games?

He was absolutely shite in midfield.

Listen to this pish, most cunts in Scotland are Huns or Tim’s, fact, wanting an all Aberdeen side?, aye we would get relegated, thinking there’s enough quality throughout Scotland that’s non hun/Tim is laughable.most of Scotland is a breadbasket, to be fair I’d be more worried about your  unionist north who vote Tory every election, your own city is rife with the hun!, but locked in pubs by police?,what can yous do???, a would look in before you look out, a no hun Tim team pffttt.not in this world, how long did Jack play for us knowing his family are Huns?. Aye

Doesn't matter whether he featured, he'll have got a ticket because his brother was part of the Rangers squad as will family members of every player that was in their squad.

Never said he wasn't a hun or a hun fan. Being in Seville and having his photo taken with a guy in a Napoli shirt is hardly the crime of the century though is it.

Who knows if his brother has ever been to Pittodrie to support Ross, can you guarantee he hasn't?

I wonder if Mcrories twin brother came up to Pittodrie to support his brother in his fight against potential relegation?

I also wonder how acceptable the hun fans would have thought that was if one of their players did anything like that?

Our club and fans really are a joke.

Sad fact is the probably around 75-80% of football supporters in Scotland are brought up supporting rangers or celtic.

The fact you're advocating narrowing down our options to the remaining 20-25% is bizarre.

Is it little wonder we struggle to attract quality players to the club? Comments on here show just how pathetic some of our fanbase is. Constant slagging, personal insults and hounding of so many Aberdeen players. Totally embarrassing.

Too many of our fans are parochial little snowflakes, all they ever want to do is find things to whine and moan about.

Were folk really thinking McCrorie wouldn't be over there given his brother was in the squad for the game? Surely anybody in his position would be away supporting their brother in the final of a European competition?

On the pitch McCrorie knuckles down and gives 100%, and off it he doesn't come across as an in your face type of hun like the Ferguson family do.

On a related note, in general you'd think the club would give the players some basic media training / rules to abide by when they sign.

"Don't go publicly tweeting about how good rival clubs are on social media"

"Don't go about getting photo'd wearing a rival clubs strip eating a rival clubs birthday cake"

"Don't sit in a press interview and say you'd rather be at Celtic"

Things like this. Fairly simple requests given AFC are paying them a decent amount of money to be here.
