You are a total fucking knobend.

Just saying it as it is.

if England invaded Scotland would that game have been played?
Would you be in attendance at said away game or would you be back home fighting where it actually matters.

Some may think this controversial but I see it & say it as is.

We didnt turn up.

Diabolical.

And their keeper was there for the taking.

We should have enough to turn up and beat Ukraine at home in these big games. Fucking dogshit.

We looked knackered from the start.

As someone else has said, atleast we dont have to get pumped by the taffs now.

Wales won't lose to them. They'll get wired in for a start and put their defence under pressure. And if that's their best keeper ....

The drunkard should get sacked for picking that team.

No sure about sacked, but it's disappointing that he didn't heed the lessons of last summer, and that he didn't move away from this useless back 5 where McTominay, Cooper and Hanley marked air for 60 minutes.

Just like the Czech and Croatia games, we looked liked rabbits caught in the headlights. And we look tired.

Completely outdone by a team that didn't even have to play well to dominate us.

Definitely supporting Wales now.

all the decent famous Ukrainians that stayed or returned to fight for their country should be calling out all these premadona war dodgers for what they are.

There is always a war going on somewhere but because it’s big bad Russia invading another European country (let’s not forget a lot in said country WANT Russian rule) it’s exaggerated to the extreme.

Do you see as much sympathy for the countries the US invade?

War is terrible but football should be a complete irrelevance in such circumstances

America only invades cunts that deserve it, though.

Or if they've got oil.

Same fucking thing.

USA!

felt like watching Aberdeen this season. Clarke rotally fucked up the team selection and formation. Seemed like the players assumed Ukraine would be traumatised. What a disappointment.

Was exactly like that.

Slow, ponderous, unimaginative 'attacking', absolutely shambolic at the back... for their second goal we had about 8 players in the box, they had 3, and when the ball was crossed in (by a Ukrainian guy who was put under zero pressure when he went to cross it) all three Ukrainians were unmarked... right up to the final 'attack' where we simply passed the ball around square, despite being 2-1 down, until we gave the ball away and Ukraine scored their third.

That performance was up there with the best of the Vogts era performances.

Let's be honest... Ukrainians are better than the Scots, and not just at football.

Their women are better.. absolutely no argument to be made there... and they're actually FIGHTING to be a real country, while the Scots aren't even brave enough to fucking VOTE to be a real country ?

The difference in mental strength is right there on the pitch for everyone to see.

Totally agree with you. For all the machismo of the Scots, telling the world how proud we are and how strong our sense of identity is, we're a nation of underachievers and perennial bottlers. I said on this board nearly a decade and a half ago, that as long as our mentality of being plucky underdogs and/or parochial northerners with a national chip on our shoulder prevails, we will never get anywhere, either in football or the wider world.

You only need to look at our football and rugby teams in recent times; both raised their game massively against England and came away with fabulous results, only to flop against other teams whom England brushed aside. It's no wonder outsiders think we're small-minded types with little to offer than a grudge against the English. Our perceived disdain wouldn't be so bad, if we actually had the balls to back it up, but yes, we were weak enough to vote against our own independence - and if polling is to be believed, still favour that status quo over growing a pair.

Pathetic.

Willie on the radio …”dinosaur tactics of Hanley up front”

Amen.

Two strikers on the bench & he puts Hanley up there.

Ach well, by the time the credits are rolling I’ll not be arsed & I’ll be back to looking to see who the Dons are signing.

A few pundits, as well as Craig Brown and other coaches, have said over the years that it's a travesty that Willie Miller is lost to the game. Say what you want about his final season with us, but he reads the game as well as any Scottish pundit I've ever known.

I hear what you say, but it was pretty obvious early on the team selection & tactics were wrong.

It was just exaggerated when you put Hanley up front for the last 10 minutes when you have two natural strikers (albeit probably limited) on the bench.

I just thought Scotland looked “leggy” & knackered.
Ukraine looked fitter & stronger, aside from streets ahead in terms of ability.

Had it been 6-1 no-one could complain.

unlucky lads. Too much faith in boozy Andy Robertson imo. He clearly didn’t respect the game.

can’t imagine he would have been boozing before the CLF

And that's where you've nailed it one hundred fucking percent.

There's no real spirit of 'We can DO THAT!'... it's more, "Och, ye cannae dae that!"

While at the same time there's an insular xenophobia where there's nothing to be learned from foreigners.

Well, we got fucking schooled tonight, so maybe there's a few things we could learn.

The problem is though, we've been getting schooled for decades, but still never learn a single thing. It's even more embarrassing when we consider that, in recent years, countries like Iceland, Hungary, Uruguay, Northern Ireland and others have all punched well above their weight and made an impact. Not Scotland, though. Oh no, no, no. We never learn.

The ghost of Masonic chancers like Jim Farry still looms large and as long as we're ruled by establishment Huns who have no ambition other than maintaining the natural (orange) order of Scottish football's status quo, we'll continue to be left behind.

We didn't play well but the fact is Ukraine are just a better team than us. They were pretty solid at the Euros and decent in qualifying this time around.

Regardless if the selection and tactics- Scotland just aren't very good. We don't have enough quality in the squad or the starting 11.

A top CB and top CF would make a big difference but we don't have them.
