He has looked decent against (let’s be honest) poorer opposition but has also been guilty of one or two poor passes at the back in each game that would definitely be punished by better sides.

Today, early in game, another example & probably his worst one yet. Hopefully JG has told him to not be as ‘casual’ with his passing at back against better teams/players. Take a more ‘no nonsense’ approach & boot it clear. Especially v likes of Celtic.

Stewart was guilty of playing the ball to the opposition at least three times and it was alluded to by Goodwin after the game that if he did that against Celtic we could be three down at half time. He needs to concentrate more and stop the mistakes as these will be punished by the better teams. 
 

My concern is the defence being all over the place at corners, Roos doesn’t come for the ball at corners or if he does it’s all half hearted. Get Lewis back in goals asap

Spot on.Great in the air,wins every ball.But Anthony Stewart is not a ball player.Celtic will run riot if he passes the ball like he did today Just clear yer lines,min.

That comment goes down as one of your worst ever and that takes some doing. 

Stewart, in terms of defending, was fucking superb yesterday. If he cuts out his tendency to morph into Franco Baresi when passing (although this tends to only happen at the very start of games), we've got a consistent 7 or 8/10 performer every match.

I actually thought he had a good game. Yeah he gave the ball away, but his actual defending was spot on, great in the air, and that block at 3-0 was tremendous, body on the line.
