That’s was just a superb win. Could have got more. Off now to watch Atlanta United v Seattle Sounders with my son in the Mercedes Benz Stadium. Brought the Dons tops of course.

Mon our parent club.

Scales played well. I presumed he was a tree-trunk-esque Ash Taylor-type clogger, but he appears to be able to play a pass.

He looks an absolutely top quality player. Back heels, slide rule passes, competent defending and an early 90s “curtains” hairstyle.
What’s not to like.

Him and Stewart are a world away from the monkeypox pairing of last season.

Great win today and lots of good quality exciting attacking football played.
Lovely stuff.

Visiting Atlanta or live in the area.  I try to make a few games a year and wear my Dons top every time.

That's the famous up to 3rd in the League and going by todays performance it's going to be the minimum position.

Yeah, true. Can picture him on my bedroom wall cut out from a Shoot magazine circa 1994, probably playing for Ipswich.

Really enjoyed that! Well done, Dons. Feeling reasonably positive!
Thought Richardson was immense, as was Scales. Richardson is rapid! Hayes good too and Covered every blade of grass.

nice to be in a good mood come 5pm on a Saturday. More of the same next week! Motherwell are terrible

He’s very composed on the ball, can pass and was getting forward a lot. Should have scored with a header but he’s a very good player indeed.

Here’s the thing , we don’t know what kind of transfer cash we have but , if it came down to it would we put in a really good bid to get Scales ( before the deadline as opposed to Jan ) , or do we use the cash to get Ronan ? I am gonna say Scales

This is the day it clicks @Zeus

Indeed.

Would've won about 12-0 if it wasn't for the refs second half performance

Hesgoal with a quite obvious anti-Aberdeen agenda.

Missed 4th goal and now got some central belt mongo's who sound like they're eating the microphone.

Hesgoals have no agendas. They just stream what's available.

Ronan on the bench for Wolves today. Can’t see that one happening.

Ref to come good?

Such a refreshing change to be looking forward to a pleasurable Saturday evening instead of last season’s weekly rage fest.

Very decent today.

We're quite clearly going to win the fucking lot.

St Mirren couldn't haven't complained if that had finished 7 or 8.  They got smashed today.  Score line absolutely flattered them.

Good performance, some very promising signs and whether we romp to success or not Goodwin already deserves a lot of credit for the scale and speed of this rebuild.

Blindingly obvious he wasn’t being serious. Then again it’s obvious to those who aren’t complete fucking spastics.

Great stuff.

Fair enough a bottom 6 side but slapping these sides around routinely was what we did under the best days of McInnes.

Lot of good investments made in the first team.

A great afternoons work. St Mirren are shite, but still, a solid Dons performance. Ref spoiled the 2nd half but hey 4 goals and a good confidence booster.

Mentioned before on here, I watched a Celtic game online last year where he started - they were playing him in a kind of wing-back role and he looked dangerous going forward.

Good shot on him too. My main reservation would be, once he gets a season here to show what he can do, they might not want to let him go...

Esteemed company the lad Clarkson will be in with by scoring on his debut....

Bett, Van der Ark, Gillhaus, and Shearer are just four I think of but I'm sure they'll be more.

Great shout out...only one cannae mind is Shearer....Bett home to Hibs, 3-0, 1985; VdA away at Well, 1988?; Gillhaus, East End Pk, November 89.....oh Hartley's 3 pens v Accies.....now what year would that have been...? pre-McInnes, right?

If theres any critics today ill give it to Goodwin; has to use the substitution windows better.. 3 subs over 2 windows within 8 minutes in 2nd half meaning we had to finish with 10 men.

Rob McLean & Jack MacKenzie (he’s better at that than playing left back).

No, I don't agree at all. Nice lad and all that, but boring as hell to listen to. By all means have a current player in the gantry, but only as back up to main commentator and 1other...preferably Tosh or Cowan. They call it as they see.
