The Hobbit 0 Posted August 31, 2007 The Show and myself are members at Craibstone. What are the courses over there like? So, so. Lots of good places but green fees are expensive. I haven't joined anywhere over here. The place I play on Friday's is parkland, not too dificult. If you can putt Share this post Link to post
The Ferret 0 Posted August 31, 2007 If you are home at xmas we can play Craibstone. Mac and i played on the 5th of January this year and the course was in superb nic. I'll lend you my spare putter Share this post Link to post
Nelly 118 Posted August 31, 2007 If you are home at xmas we can play Craibstone. Mac and i played on the 5th of January this year and the course was in superb nic. I'll lend you my spare putter I played Craibstone in the rain a couple of weeks ago and agree it's in excellent condition. Scored 33 points (out in 20 back in 13). I did question their yardages on a couple of the par 3s though, (7th & 10th), went through the back twice without touching the green even after dropping a club due to the elevation!! If you can't putt though you might struggle. Share this post Link to post
The Hobbit 0 Posted August 31, 2007 Ach, my putting is usually okay. One of those days. Count me in bro, I'll be back for a week so should be no problem. Share this post Link to post

If you can't putt though you might struggle. I would agree they can both be quite deceptive especially if there is a wind about which is 90% of the time. You are not the first to question the yardage of some of the holes but they are in fact spot on. The Greens are the best thing about the place. Nice a big as well. Ach, my putting is usually okay.
